CRC imports in Brazil are negotiated in average at $700/mt, CFR conditions, against $680/mt two weeks ago, according to sources.
In the Brazilian domestic market, CRC of the basic commercial grades is offered in medium to large volumes by the producers at BRL 5,950/mt ($1,092/mt), stable in BRL from two weeks ago, ex-works, full taxes except IPI.
In November, Brazil exported 34,900 mt and imported 32,500 mt of HRC, against respectively 24,100 mt and 20,400 mt in September, all FOB conditions.
The exports were destined to Europe (28,700 mt at $639/mt) and South America (6,200 mt at $784/mt), shipped by Usiminas (34,800 mt) and ArcelorMittal (100 mt).
The imports were from Asia (31,800 mt, of which 19,900 mt from China at $545/mt) and Egypt (700 mt at $674/mt).
