CRC imports in Brazil are negotiated in average at $700/mt, CFR conditions, stable over the last four weeks, according to sources.
In the Brazilian domestic market, CRC of the basic commercial grades is offered in medium to large volumes by the producers at BRL 6,050/mt ($1,139/mt), also stable in BRL from four weeks ago, ex-works, full taxes except IPI.
In August, Brazil exported 2,100 mt and imported 38,000 mt of CRC, against respectively 21,600 mt and 26,000 mt in July.
The exports of August were all destined to South American countries, shipped by ArcelorMittal (1,400 mt at $1,294/mt), and Usiminas (700 mt at $994/mt), FOB conditions.
The imports were from South Korea (20,000 mt at $575/mt), Russia (9,700 mt at $488/mt), China (8,000 mt at $585/mt), and Europe (300 mt at $1,007/mt), also FOB conditions.
