CRC imports in Brazil are negotiated in average at $695/mt, CFR conditions, against $690/mt three weeks ago, according to sources.
In the Brazilian domestic market, CRC of the basic commercial grades is offered in medium to large volumes by the producers at BRL 5,950/mt ($1,121/mt), against BRL 5,850/mt three weeks ago, ex-works, full taxes except IPI.
In October, Brazil exported 24,100 mt of CRC, in average at $702/mt, while imported 20,400 mt at $558/mt, against respectively 25,900 mt at $714/mt and 13,500 mt at $566/mt in September, all FOB conditions.
Preliminary numbers of SECEX for November point to CRC exports increasing and imports declining in volume from October.
