CRC imports in Brazil are negotiated at an average of $650/mt CFR, down from $675/mt two weeks ago.
In the Brazilian domestic market, producers are offering CRC of basic commercial grades in medium to large volumes at BRL 6,100/mt ($1,115/mt), down from $6,300/mt two weeks ago, ex-works and including all taxes except IPI.
According to SECEX, Brazil’s foreign trade authority, in May, the country exported 2,500 mt of HRC at an average of $1,083/mt and imported 29,500 mt of HRC at an average of $607/mt, both FOB conditions.
