Average export offer prices of Chinese flat steel products have indicated an overall upward trend in the past week. At present, export offers for boron-added 5.75 mm hot rolled coil (HRC) given by Chinese suppliers are at $435-445/mt FOB, while export offers for 1.0 mm cold rolled coil (CRC) given by Chinese suppliers are in the range of $480-490/mt FOB.
During the given week, flat steel export offer prices from China have moved up amid positive expectations of market participants as regards the future prospects for the market. It is expected that flat steel export offer prices from China will continue their rising trend in the coming week.
