During the week ending November 8, average Chinese flat steel export offer prices have decreased for hot rolled plate (HRP), shipbuilding plate, hot dip galvanized (HDG) and pre-painted galvanized iron (PPGI), while moving sideways for other products. At present, export offers for boron-added 5.75 mm hot rolled coil (HRC) given by Chinese suppliers are at $535-555/mt FOB, while export offers for 1.0 mm cold rolled coil (CRC) given by Chinese suppliers are in the range of $590-600/mt FOB.
It is expected that flat steel product export prices from China will move sideways in the coming week.
