During the week ending October 11, average Chinese flat steel export offer prices have moved on a decreasing trend, while softening by a slightly larger margin for hot rolled coil. At present, export offers for boron-added 5.75 mm hot rolled coil (HRC) given by Chinese suppliers are at $560-570/mt FOB, while export offers for 1.0 mm cold rolled coil (CRC) given by Chinese suppliers are in the range of $605-615/mt FOB.
It is expected that flat steel product export prices from China will move sideways in the coming week.
