As of March 8, average Chinese flat steel product export offers have increased on week-on-week basis. At present, export offers for boron-added 5.75 mm hot rolled coil (HRC) given by Chinese suppliers are at $610-620/mt FOB, while export offers for 1.0 mm cold rolled coil (CRC) given by Chinese suppliers are in the range of $640-650/mt FOB.
Flat steel product export prices from China indicated significant rises in the first part of the past week, while declining in the latter part of the week. It is thought that Chinese flat steel product export prices will move sideways in the coming week.
