Average export offer prices of Chinese flat steel products have mostly indicated a downward trend in the past week. At present, export offers for boron-added 5.75 mm hot rolled coil (HRC) given by Chinese suppliers are at $430-440/mt FOB, while export offers for 1.0 mm cold rolled coil (CRC) given by Chinese suppliers are in the range of $475-485/mt FOB.

During the given week, flat steel export offer prices from China have generally softened amid the downward movement of the Chinese domestic steel market. It is expected that flat steel export offer prices from China will continue to move on a soft trend in the coming week.
