Average export offer prices of Chinese flat steel products have indicated downward movement in the past week. At present, export offers for boron-added 5.75 mm hot rolled coil (HRC) given by Chinese suppliers are at $465-475/mt FOB, while export offers for 1.0 mm cold rolled coil (CRC) given by Chinese suppliers are in the range of $515-525/mt FOB.
During the given week, the decline in Chinese domestic flat steel prices has contributed to the downward movement of Chinese flat steel export offer prices. Weak sentiment prevails among exporters. It is thought that Chinese flat steel export offer prices will likely continue their soft trend in the coming week.
