During the week ending December 13, average Chinese flat steel export offer prices have declined for hot rolled plate (HRP), shipbuilding plate, hot dip galvanized (HDG) and pre-painted galvanized iron (PPGI), though remaining stable for other flat products. At present, export offers for boron-added 5.75 mm hot rolled coil (HRC) given by Chinese suppliers are at $470-510/mt FOB, while export offers for 1.0 mm cold rolled coil (CRC) given by Chinese suppliers are in the range of $535-545/mt FOB.
It is expected that flat steel product export prices from China will move on a stable trend in the coming week.
