US nail producers file AD petition against China, UAE

Early Tuesday, a group of US nail producers filed an antidumping petition against steel nails from China and the United Arab Emirates.

The petitioners include Gerdau Ameristeel Corporation (Atlas Steel & Wire Division), Davis Wire Corporation, Mid Continent Nail Corporation, Maze Nails, and Treasure Coast Fasteners Inc.

The US International Trade Commission will make a preliminary determination on the petition by July 13.
