US HRC exports rise 3.7 percent in November

US exports of hot rolled sheets totaled 64,108 mt in November, up 3.7 percent from October and up 22.3 percent from November 2015 levels. By value, HRC exports totaled $45.1 million in November, compared to $44.7 million in the previous month and $38.7 million the same month last year.
 
The US shipped the most HRC to Mexico in November, with 34,630 mt, compared to 31,986 mt in October and 30,740 mt in November 2015. Other top destinations included Canada, with 28,657 mt compared to 29,438 mt in October and 21,334 mt in November 2015. There were no other notable destinations with HRC tonnage levels surpassing 1,000 mt.
