US drawn wire exports down 16.9 percent in November from October

According to export data from the US Department of Commerce, US exports of drawn wire totaled 5,763 mt in November last year, down 16.9 percent month on month and down 22.5 percent year on year. By value, drawn wire exports totaled $16.3 million in November compared to $18.3 million in the previous month and $18.1 million in the same month of 2023.

The US shipped the most drawn wire to Canada in November with 2,747 mt, compared to 2,784 mt in October and 2,859 mt in November 2023. The other top destination was Mexico with 1,981 mt. There were no other significant destinations (1,000 mt or more) for US drawn wire in November.
