According to export data from the US Department of Commerce, US exports of cold rolled sheet totaled 71,674 mt in July 2023, up 6.2 percent from June and up 70.9 percent from July 2022. By value, CRC exports totaled $89.6 million in July, compared to $83.1 million in the previous month and $56.8 million the same month last year.
The US shipped the most CRC to Mexico in July with 55,471 mt, compared to 49,895 mt in June and 28,109 mt in July 2022. Other top destinations included Canada, with 15,323 mt. There were no other significant destinations (1,000 mt or more) for US CRC exports in July.
