Ukrainian ferroalloy output increases by 47.6 percent in Jan-Aug

In the first eight months of this year, Ukraine's ferroalloy production increased by 47.6 percent compared to the same period last year to 705,400 mt, as stated by the Association of Ukrainian Ferroalloy Producers (UkrFA).

Accordingly, in the given period Ukraine's silicomanganese output increased by 49.4 percent to 528,700 mt, its ferromanganese production went up by 37.9 percent to 69,100 mt, while its ferrosilicon output increased by 54.8 percent to 107,600 mt, all compared to January-August 2013.
