The UK’s Trade Remedies Authority (TRA) has announced that the UK government is suspending antidumping duties on hot rolled flat iron, non-alloy, or other alloy steel goods from Russia and Iran if those products are subject to a 25 percent safeguard duty, until such time as the relevant import quota is exceeded.

Once the safeguard quota is exceeded, the antidumping duties will be at 17.9 percent for Iran and be in the range of 5.3-33 percent for Russia.

The 34 products currently fall under the codes starting with 7208, 7211, 7225 and 7226.
