The UK government has announced that it has suspended antidumping duty on non-alloy or other alloy hot rolled coil (HRC) imported from Iran and Russia until the relevant import quota is exceeded. Nevertheless, as the antidumping duties for Russia-based MMK and other Russian companies are above the safeguard duty at 25 percent, only the portion of the antidumping duty exceeding the safeguard duty is charged.
