Turkey’s HRC exports increase by 94.9 percent in January-November

In November last year, Turkey’s hot rolled coil (HRC) exports amounted to 102,363 metric tons, down by 32.1 percent compared to October and up by 30.9 percent year on year, according to the preliminary data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK). Meanwhile, the revenue generated by these exports totaled $61.70 million, decreasing by 33.4 percent compared to the previous month and increasing by 24.8 percent year on year.

In the January-November period, Turkey's HRC exports amounted to 2,083,265 mt, up 94.9 percent, while the value of these exports increased by 77.8 percent to $1.33 billion, both year on year.

In the given period, Turkey’s largest HRC export destination was Italy with 610,873 mt. Italy was followed by Spain with 249,279 mt and Egypt with 233,996 mt.
