In July this year, Turkey’s total hot rolled coil (HRC) exports declined by 13.5 percent compared to June and by 57.8 percent year on year to 75,316 mt, according to the data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK). These exports had a value of $56.01 million, down by 18.1 percent month on month and by 67.5 percent compared to the same month of 2022.
In the January-July period of this year, Turkey’s HRC exports amounted to 569,289 mt, dropping by 40.1 percent, while the value of these exports fell by 53.4 percent to $427.17 million, both compared to the same period of 2022.
