Tata Steel’s domestic crude steel output up 5% in Q1 FY 2024-25

India’s Tata Steel Limited reported crude steel production of 5.25 million mt from its domestic operations during the first quarter (April-June) of the fiscal year 2024-25, up five percent year on year, according to a regulatory filing on Monday, July 8.

The company achieved sales of 4.94 million mt during the quarter, up three percent year on year.

Tata Steel’s consolidated crude steel production including output from its overseas mills was reported at 7.46 million mt in the given quarter, a rise of four percent year on year.
