Taiwan’s basic metal export orders up 16.3 percent in Jan-Jul

According to the statistics released by the Taiwan Ministry of Economic Affairs, in July this year Taiwan's basic metal and basic metal product export orders amounted to $2.56 billion, up 13.4 percent compared to July last year and rising by 2.6 percent compared to the previous month. In June, Taiwan’s basic metal and basic metal product orders had recorded a 1.7 percent decrease month on month.

In the first seven months of the current year, the country's basic metal and basic metal product export orders rose by 16.3 percent year on year to $17.6 billion.
