South Korea’s new car registrations down 19.4 percent in January

In January this year, South Korea’s new car registrations went down by 51.9 percent month on month and by 19.4 percent year on year to 16,222 units, according to the data released by the Korea Automobile Importers and Distributors Association (KAIDA).

BMW had the biggest share in sales with 37.54 percent, followed by Mercedes-Benz with 17.88 percent.
