South Korea’s new car registrations up 35.9 percent in Jan-Feb 2026

In February this year, South Korea’s new car registrations went up by 29.7 percent month on month and by 34.6 percent year on year to 27,190 units, according to the data released by the Korea Automobile Importers and Distributors Association (KAIDA).

Meanwhile, in the first two months of this year, South Korean new car registrations advanced by 35.9 percent year on year to 48,150 units.
