In May this year, South Korea’s new car registrations went down by 12.2 percent month on month and up by 5.9 percent year on year to 29,860 units, according to the data released by the Korea Automobile Importers and Distributors Association (KAIDA).
Meanwhile, in the first five months of this year, South Korean new car registrations advanced by 32.3 percent year on year to 145,973 units.
