South Korea’s new car registrations down 0.6 percent in January-August

In August this year, South Korea’s new car registrations increased by 10.5 percent month on month and decreased by 2.1 percent year on year to 23,350 units, according to the data released by the Korea Automobile Importers and Distributors Association (KAIDA).

Meanwhile, in the January-August period this year, South Korean new car registrations declined by 0.6 percent year on year to 175,177 units.
