Rebar costs rise in Buenos Aires area in March

Rebar costs in the greater Buenos Aires area in March rose 3.3 percent, month-on-month, according to data released by the nation’s statistics agency, Indec.

Rebar was among the products that grew the most in cost in the general expenses category on a month-on-month analysis.

According to government data, civil construction cost in the Buenos Aires area in March rose 1.5 percent, month-on-month. Costs of materials, workforce and general expenses in March increased 2.5, 1 and 0.8 percent, month-on-month, respectively.
