Rebar costs increase in greater Buenos Aires in December

Rebar costs in the greater Buenos Aires area in December rose 0.9 percent, month-on-month, local statistics agency Indec said this week.

Indec said rebar was among the products whose cost increased the least within the general expenses category in December, on a month-on-month basis.

The statistics agency said the cost of civil construction in the greater Buenos Aires area in December rose 1.7 percent, month-on-month.

Cost of materials in December in the greater Buenos Aires area grew 2.4 percent, while workforce costs increased 1.1 percent, both on a month-on-month analysis.

Likewise, general expenses in the greater Buenos Aires in December improved 2.5 percent, month-on-month, Indec said.
