Rebar costs increase in Buenos Aires area in June

Rebar costs in the greater Buenos Aires area slightly rose 0.4 percent in June, month­on­month, according to data released by the nation’s institute of statistics and census, Indec.

According to data from Indec, rebar was among the main products whose cost increased the least, or declined, in the general expenses category.

Indec said civil construction cost in the greater Buenos Aires area in June improved 0.9 percent, month­on­month.

Cost of materials, workforce and general expenses in the sixth month of the year increased 1.1, 0.5 and 2.2 percent, respectively, month­on­month.

As for the year­on­year analysis, cost of materials, workforce and general expenses in June rose 20.1, 24.3, and 44.3 percent, year­on-year, respectively.
