Rebar costs decline in greater Buenos Aires area in February

Rebar costs in the greater Buenos Aires area dropped 0.4 percent in February, month-on-month, according to local statistics agency, Indec.

Rebar was among the products which declined or increased in cost the least within the general expenses category in February, on a month-on-month comparison.

Indec said the cost of civil construction in the greater Buenos Aireas area in February grew 1.4 percent, month-on-month.

Cost of materials in February improved 1.7 percent, while workforce costs rose 0.6 percent, both on a month-on-month basis.

According to government data, general expenses in the greater Buenos Aires in February improved 4.2 percent, also on a month-on-month analysis.
