On January 25, Eurostat, the Statistical Office of the European Communities, issued a revision of its first estimate of the new industrial orders index in November in the European Union member states (EU-27), with the revised index showing a 2.6 percent increase compared to October.

As SteelOrbis previously reported, Eurostat's initial statement regarding the new industrial orders index in the EU-27 in November indicated a month-on-month increase of 1.8 percent. The difference between the results resulted from the revised data from Germany.
