Mexican auto production declines in January

Mexican auto production in January declined 4 percent, year-on-year, to 320,405 units, according to a report from local automotive industry association, AMIA.

Mexican exports of vehicles in January reached 228,184 units, 5.8 percent down, year-on-year.

AMIA said domestic sales of autos in the first month of the year decreased nearly 6 percent, year-on-year, to 104,832 units.
