Khouzestan Steel ups semis output by 13 percent

Iranian steel mill Khouzestan Steel produced 536,000 mt of semi-finished steel (slab, billet, bloom) in the first two months (21.03-20.05.2010) of the current Iranian year, up 13 percent on the 476,000 mt of semis produced in the corresponding period of the last Iranian year.
 
If the plant maintains its output rate of the first two months of the current Iranian year, it will reach its annual nominal production capacity of 3.2 million metric tons.
 
In the previous Iranian year,  Khouzestan Steel produced 2.56 million metric tons of semi-finished products.
