Iranian steelmaker Khouzestan Steel produced 1.4 million mt of semi-finished steel (billet, bloom and slab) in the first half of the current Iranian year (started March 21), representing an increase of 14 percent compared to 1,056,00 mt in the same period of the last Iranian year - according to the newly published data from the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).
By the end of the current Iranian year, Khouzestan Steel expects to achieve an output of 2.85 million metric tons of semi-finished steel.
