India’s MOIL reports 35% rise in manganese ore output in Q1 FY 2023-24

India’s state-run MOIL Limited achieved manganese ore production of 436,000 mt in the first quarter (April-June) of the fiscal year 2023-24, up 35 percent year on year, a company statement said on Monday, July 3.

The company said that production achieved during the quarter was also the highest-ever quarterly production in all previous fiscal years.

MOIL reported sales of 396,000 mt during the first quarter this year, up 39 percent year on year.
