India’s JSW Steel Ltd reports 14% rise in crude steel output in July

India’s JSW Steel Limited achieved crude steel production of 1.56 million mt on standalone basis in July this year, up 14 percent year on year, a company statement said on Tuesday, August 9.

The company reported flat steel product output at 1.07 million mt during the month, up 15 percent, and long product output at 365,000 mt, up 10 percent, both year on year.

JSW Steel Limited’s installed crude steel capacity in India is 27 million mt.
