India’s JSW Steel Ltd posts 25% rise in crude steel output for Oct

India’s JSW Steel Limited achieved crude steel production of 1.776 million mt in October this year, up 25 percent year on year, a company statement said on Friday, November 11.

Production of flat rolled products was reported at 1.361 million mt, up 30 percent, and long product output was up 11 percent to 370,000 mt, year on year, the statement said.

The company’s steel mills achieved a capacity utilization level of 93 percent in October this year, compared to 89 percent in September.
