Highveld completes Transalloys sale deal

Highveld Steel and Vanadium, the South African subsidiary of the Russian steel producer Evraz Group, has announced the completion of the deal for the sale of its ferroalloy unit Transalloys to a subsidiary of the Russian Renova Group for a total of $112.5 million. 

Transalloys produces manganese alloys which are sold to other Highveld facilities, in the South African market in general, and also internationally.
