Handan Steel produces first batch of DC06 extra deep drawing auto plate

On March 8, Hebei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Handan Iron and Steel, a subsidiary of major Chinese steel producer Hebei Steel Group, announced that it has produced its first batch of DC06 (interstitial-free (IF)) extra deep drawing automotive steel plate. At present in China, only a few enterprises can produce this product.
 
DC06 (IF) steel adheres to strict requirements in terms of carbon and nitrogen content. The batch of DC06 (IF) auto plate in question consists of 60 mt, with thickness of 0.8 mm and width of 1,250 mm. The yield strength of the product is in a range of 137-142 Mpa.
