As of October 18, Hebei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Handan Iron and Steel Co. (Handan Steel) had produced over 4,000 mt of steel plate within the scope of an order for Italian automobile producer FIAT, as announced by the company, which is a subsidiary of Chinese steel producer Hebei Steel Group.
Li Guiyang, chairman of Handan Steel, stated that the steel plates produced are in line with European standard EN10346: 2009.
