Hebei Province-based Chinese steel producer Handan Iron and Steel Co. (Hansteel), a subsidiary of Hebei Iron and Steel Group, has announced that it has successfully produced the first batch of high-strength hot dip galvanized (HDG) interstitial free (IF) steel in line with European standard in Hebei Province.
The HX260YD+Z grade product, produced by only a few domestic steel enterprises, is mainly used in the production of high quality sheet for application in automobile manufacture.
