Chinese steelmaker Wuhan Iron and Steel Co. (WISCO) has announced that it has successfully produced 300 mt of SAPH370-P hot rolled pickled sheet for application in automobile manufacture. The product has already been delivered to customer.
The pickled sheet with thin specification will be able to replace cold rolled sheet in the automotive sector. Up to now, no domestic steel producer has been able to mass-produce HR pickled auto sheet with thickness below 1.8 mm for the local market.
