Shougang Group’s year-to-date auto steel plate output exceeds 800,000 mt

Beijing-based Chinese steelmaker Shougang Group has announced that in the current year up to December 16 it produced 800,000 mt of steel plate for the automotive sector, achieving its annual output target 15 days ahead of schedule.
 
In the January-November period of the current year, Shougang Group developed 49 new steel grades, including high-strength auto plate and galvanized auto plate.
