Inner Mongolia-based Chinese steel company Baotou Steel Sheet Plant, a subsidiary of Baotou Iron and Steel (Baogang Group), has announced that it has successfully rolled its first batch of DC01 auto steel sheet. The new product will be supplied to state-owned Chinese car producer Chery Automobile.
The DC01 auto steel sheet rolled in the first batch has a width of 1,250 mm, with thicknesses of 0.8 mm and 1.0 mm.
