Chinese steelmaker Hebei Iron and Steel Co. has announced that its subsidiary Handan Iron and Steel Co. (Handan Steel) has developed production of SPHD-E deep drawing pickled steel coil and HCT500X cold rolled dual-phase steel plate.
SPHD-E deep drawing pickled steel has a yield strength below 300 MPa and elongation above 35 percent, and is applied in the automotive and mechanical sectors.
HCT500X cold rolled dual-phase steel has a yield strength of 380 MPa and tensile strength of 545 MPa, with elongation of 29 percent. It is applied in crash-resistant parts in the automotive sector.
