Handan Steel hikes galvanized coil prices

SteelOrbis Shanghai On May 24, 2006, Henan province based Handan Steel adjusted its galvanized coil ex-factory prices. According to the adjustment, the prices increased RMB 400/mt ($50). After the adjustment, the new price of 1.0 mm thick SGCC galvanized coils became RMB 5,727/mt ($714) including 17 percent VAT, and that of 0.5 mm thick SGCC galvanized coils became RMB 6,315/mt ($787) including 17% VAT.
