Goa to auction six iron ore blocks on April 16

The government of the western Indian coastal state of Goa will auction six iron ore blocks on April 16, a government official said on Thursday, January 29.

The official stated that five iron ore blocks were located in the northern part of the state, while the sixth was an iron ore-manganese ore block in the southern part of the state.

The auction documents will be up for sale until March 16 after which the government’s Departments of Mines and Geology (DMG) will hold the action on April 16.
