German crude steel output sees monthly rise in Oct.

Germany's Federal Statistics Office has reported that crude steel production in Germany declined 1.1 percent year-on-year in October to 4.19 million metric tons, while pig iron output fell 1.1 percent to 2.63 million metric tons.

On the other hand, on a month-on-month basis, Germany's crude steel production increased 3.1 percent while pig iron production was up 2.3 percent.
