Fire does not halt production at Wirerope Works

Production continues at Wirerope Works Inc. despite a fire, which destroyed at least half of the main building. The fire that broke out on Wednesday in the Sunbury plant of Wirerope Works is believed to have started in the mill building and then quickly spread to the maintenance building. The Sunbury plant has 23 employees and produces wire rope for bridges, airports and other public work projects.
