Evraz Group plans to build new section rolling mill in southern Russia

Russian mining and steel producing company Evraz Group has announced that it is going to build a new section rolling mill in southern Russia. The production capacity of the mill is expected to be 450,000 mt of products per year.

The name of the project is ‘Southern Rolling Mill' and the new mill will be built near the port of Ust-Donetsk. The approximate investment cost will be about $158 million. The mill is scheduled to come on stream by mid-2013 and will specialize in the production of reinforcing steel, angles and channel bars.
